it runs fine out of water, but when we put it in water it wont idle. starts fine but dies after a few seconds unless we hold the throttle down alittle. also it won't go above 3600 rpms when riding it. also the maint light is on. any ideas?
The rfis eat rectifiers. Check compression. Then run on a hose and check battery with volt meter while running. Post your numbers. Compression should be 150 if great 120 needs a rebuild.
