2001 seadoo Challenger 2000 240efi Revving to full blast at startup

i have a 2001 seadoo challenger 2000 240 efi and its my first year with it. My problem is this last trip I was out it started to act up in the way the moter revving up at startup to the point I think it will blow the moter. I looked it over when I got home hooked the hose to it and started it up again and the same thing when I start it goes full throttle.

What have you checked?

These don't have any kind of IAC or "Idle Booster".... so it has to be something mechanical. (like a stuck cable)

thank you for the info Im going out today to check but the throttle cable looks like it works fine... ill look closer at the linkage
