2001 Sea Doo Rx Sitting For 4 Years

Just got a 2001 Sea Doo RX for free from a family member. Apparently its been sitting uncovered out in the rain/snow/you name it for the past 3 years. Taking it on as my next project. I've never owned a PWC before. I've owned and worked on my fair share of snowmobiles and quads so I know my way around a small engine fairly well I guess, but I wouldn't call myself an expert or anything even close to one.

Anyways, I picked it up today and it doesn't look bad on the outside, but the first thing I did was pop the seat off to see the motor and the engine compartment was pretty much plump full of water. Not sure for how long, but if I had to guess I would say years. I'm pretty sure it will need a full rebuild. I was thinking I should just start by pulling the motor out of it to get a good look at what I've got ahead of me.

Would really appreciate any suggestions.

Is it a carbed RX or DI fuel injected?

if it's a DI ski, return it to the yard as a lawn ornament. I never understand when I see a boat or car sit for years outside... either love it or sell it.
