I recently replaced my fuel pump / filters, and upon install, my fuel gauge no longer displays anything. It starts and runs great excluding once every minute or so it gives one loud warning beep.

The float does appear to float in the gas tank. I did a lot of research on the F1 fuse but unsure if that pertains to this fuel pump module?

The info gauge works as expected

Is it possible that it got bent upon installation?? Sometimes that float and arm can be difficult and it is easy to put too much pressure on it. I always clean the contacts I'll assume the wires are connected.

I can definitely see how it’s easy to bend it, but was very cautious of this. Even if it somehow was slightly bent, I would expect that to yield just a more inaccurate reading? Not nothing at all?

I will clean the contacts in the AM and see if it helps.

Wires are all connected. Fuel pump pumps just fine and supplies plenty of fuel.

Have you checked the fuses? Is the connector totally clipped in? I don't believe there is an F1 fuse.

I pulled the 10 or so fuses in the front compartment and all looked great. Connector is completely clipped in. If I jump the 2 wires running into this connector, this should yield a full reading on the gauge, is that correct?

Update:
Pulled the fuel module back out, took everything apart, put it all back together assuring all connections were solid and the fuel gauge is back and functional!
