2001 GTX DI loading up skipping

I recently purchased a 2001 GTX DI. I changed out the plugs to try and solve my problem already. It starts and runs great, but when accelerating from idle and before it get up on plane the engine seems as though it is loading up (fuel) and missing intermittently. After it reaches about 20 mph all the way to about 58mph, it runs great. Is this normal or do i have a fuel flow problem?
It also seems to be slightly high on idle.

01 GTX DI with same issue

Mine does the same, but does it all the time. I pulled my plugs and they were black! Changed them and the ski ran great one day, then developed the same issue the next time. What could it be? Its annoying, especially at full throttle, sounds like it is going choke out one of these days.

Thanks Semperfish. I wonder if this is normal behavior for this particular engine. I still would like to know if this is a sign of future problems. Any information is appeciated.
