Hi everyone, Have a problem with my 01 gtx-di. Had it out twice this year and both times it runs perfect for about 30-45 mins. then all of a sudden shuts down to "limp mode" and seems to only run on one cylinder. Im gonna check charging systems this weekend for volts. Does this seem more like a sensor going bad problem or possibly a rectifier? Mechanic told me since the front cyclinder keeps shutting down, it could be the heat sensor between cyclinders going bad. He also said the computer is shutting one cyclinder down due to heat.
I can replace the plug and go riding again the next day with the exact same results.
