RESTO 2001 gtx di checks

Hey guys I am new to the forum and have recently purchased two seadoos. One is a 02 GTI LE which runs good. Other is a 01 GTX DI which PO said needed top end. Before I haul off and get in to engine what are the recommended checks to do in order to properly diagnose the problem?

Compression and fuel pressure

Exactly as Jimmy said.
Compression needs to be 140-120 and at 110 it is done.
Fuel pressure has to be exactly 107 psi.

Wow 60 and 30 respectively definitely shot. Did hear a hissing noise after turning engine over to check compression. Not sure if bad gasket or worse. We’ll see when I can get it in the garage to remove.
