Hello,

I have a 2001 Challenger 1800 with a broken fuel gauge. It constantly reads empty. I've read that the float seems to be an issue with these models, and will be checking out the link below when I get back to the boat, but in the event that the gauge is bad, does anyone know where I could buy a new one? I've looked all around for part number 204470391, but it seems to be discontinued.

Thanks in advance!

Pull the fuel baffle, turn power on and lift the float up the rod and watch the gauge. Most likely the float just went bad. Take the float off and drop it into a can of gas and see if it sinks like rock. Also the float MIGHT have drop its magnets.
