Buying rebuild engine

My 2001 787 GTX rfi engine is toast, once opened up the pistons were bad, the liner and looks like the crank as well. Looking at getting a rebuild and was wondering if there is one that someone recommends, like SBT in Florida. I live in Canada but these guys give a 1 year no fault warranty the only problem is the shipping which is $300. Does anyone have experience with these guys? What about PWC Engine in NY who charge $899 for a rebuild of your own engine and offer a 2 year no fault warranty and rebore the liners. Looking for anyone who went

A no fault warrany engine is the way to go for peace of mind. However, that is for
the Shortblock. For it to funtion correctly the installer is accountable for serviceing
& updateing the componets spects to oem.

I have been to SBT, walked the facility, and found State-of-the Art equipment and
machinery. I was very impressed as ALL machinists there were Top Notch guys who
were running precision specifications you'd find in the US space contracting industry.

Most people have good things to say about SBT. I agree on the no fault warranty, thats the way to go. Just make sure whatever caused your last engine to fail is fixed.
