J jmarkle24 New Member May 27, 2009 #1 I just bought a used 2000 speedster and when I turn at 20+ mph the shifter starts to bang hard back and forth. If I hold it it's fine. Anybody know what this could be from? It doesn't shift the whole way to neutral or reverse but slams hard. Thanks

kustomkarl Premium Member Premium Member May 27, 2009 #2 Pull the control levers out and there is a screw on the side to adjust the friction. Tighten it up. Karl
