2000 seadoo speedster sk oil light

Hi All,

My oil light has come on along with the annoying buzzer. I have checked both the engine mounted resovoir and also the main resovoir. Both are full.

I suspect the float on the engine mounted resovoir is setting off the alarm as when I remove the cap and manipulate the float the light goes on and off.

I had the engine running with out the cap on and the resovoir overflowed. Thats tells me the pump is bringing oil into the resovoir.

So how do I get the light/alarm to shut off? Any ideas?

Hmmm...replace the sensor maybe. Get the number off of it. There are tons on ebay $25-$50. Or buy new from the site sponsor.
