Hey everyone,
I'm pretty new to boating been around bikes, cars, trucks, sleds. Have ridden a bunch of PWC and in boats but never owned or really drove one. I recently purchased a 2000 seadoo speedster during covid. (Awesome) probably overpaid lmao. I was just wondering if anyone had any good info on these. Getting new seats done, new paint, new decals, full cut and wax on lower hull, curious about the engine. Dont wanna blow my budget on looks and be stuck in the water. It's a Merc M2 240 V6 efi. Wanna try my hand at the oil bypass. Tried reading up about it but without pics its difficult. Also between the generations they changed the (plastic wheel) to a metal one in something. Like I said I'm super new curious as to what anyone has to say about the boat in general any mods, tips, tricks would be awesome. Thanks look forward to all of it.
