Bought this machine for $700 with the trailer, cleaned it up. New seat cover, Seem welded the oil tank, fixed the fuel sender, purchased a few odds and ends. Before I water test it any advice on what other parts fail?IMG_7051.JPGIMG_7048.JPGIMG_7050.JPGIMG_7049.JPG

I wish it was injected but it’s carb [emoji53]

Gotta say it, the engine. At 200 hours the 951 is when they get tired. But really anything could go, it's almost 20 years old and put away wet. And you comment you wish it were injected, you'd change your mind really quick if it was. Not the easiest to trouble shoot. Carbs are the way to go on these older 2 strokes.

Nice machine. Around me that is a $3000 ski all day long. No such thing as a reasonable jet ski in my area.

I got a blue RX DI a couple weeks ago. Nowhere near as pretty as yours but it's got potential. :) Right after I put an engine in there. :D :)

This was not pretty, I buffed it out with meguirs compound and gave it a nice wax, seat cover was torn to shit. Man that was a chore to replace!! Not as easy as you would think. This machine has 125hrs on it. I am familiar with the troubleshooting since I have 2 XPDIs, I don’t mind the complexity since i understand the system and it’s good for my wife, just hit the button. Really helps when your waiting in line idleing in the bay to pull them out. They don’t stall or load up. We will see how the carb model fars
