Evening all. I have a ski that I've been working on. The check valve was bad so I put the only thing I had which was the black and white one and not the gray one like the fuel tank uses.
So when I put it back together I checked the pressure coming out of the crank case and it was only like 2psi. I used a mighty vac to check this. Is this correct? If this is low could a bad reed petal cause this?
I'm also having an issue with the pto cyl having trouble firing up on its own. The mag fires up at the touch of the start button.
The reason I mention this is because the ski is very sluggish off the line but seems to "come alive" once you get going. Could a bad reed cause all these issues?
