I recently took mine out / put it back in. Is it the Di ? I took off the exhaust, the air inlet throttles and air filter box, disconnected the fuel injection rail and the obvious water pipes/electric wires/hoses. Disconnected the pto, unscrewed the 3 engine mountings, hitched a hook onto the exhaust manifold and lifted it out. Its not as easy as might think,.. its a tight squeeze !!
If its a Di,.. remember the 2 water hoses underneath that you can only disconnect once you have lifted it up a little and squeeze your hand under,.. they break off the connecter easily.
