2000 GTX RFI ran out of oil

I recently ran my oil tank dry which caused a slew of other problems it appears. Plug fouling after 20 mins, 12v low current warnings, and overall runnin shitty. Any suggestions???

Check the compression! You probably fried the motor.

Do ya think it could be just rings? When I put new plugs in it runs good for about 20 mins. which usually means rings, (thats been my experience with two stroke engines on dirtbikes).

Only way to know for sure is to check the compression. We can start from there!

To bad about the oil. Sea doo could have easily installed low oil sensors back then. Just a matter of running the kill circuit thru the sensor in the bottom of the oil tank. Anyone know if the new machines have them?

my '99 has an oil sensor light... when it lights up, time to stop riding and go fill it! only makes sense the 2000 would, unless it does not work.
