Hi Everyone,

I took my seadoo out for the first time this summer today and no water was coming out of the bleeder hole on the back. When i ran it on the hose the water was coming out of it strong. I read in a previous thread that it is a different process so it doesn't mean anything. I read the service manual they advise to hook it up to the hose to flush the system so i am not sure. What areas would you start checking first?
Is there a common area were water is blocked?
Is there a a procedure to test that the intake pump is working and picking up the water?

The engine did not over heat as i didn't run it that long

Any ideas would be helpful.

Chris

Not sure how your pump exit is set up, mines straight back. I hooked a shop vac up to it, used my hand to make it kinda air tight, and sucked that baby clean.. After that, full flow on and off trailer, no more overheating buzzer. Worth a shot.. Also check ur pump and grate for obstructions

Thanks for the suggestion 96spxpos. I took off the hoses at the Head and blew on them all seem to be clear of any blockages. So i took a hose and placed it on the main intake port on the head and blew and something came out with the water, hooked everything back up ran it on the trail with the hose as well. Then took it down to the lake and water was coming out of the bleed hole. So now i am going ot charge the batter and hope on Wednesday or Thursday i will get a chance and take it out.

The routing is slightly different when on the hose vs. in the water.

Very common for the elbow off the back of the head to get plugged and not allow the water to dump out the bleeder hole.
