This is my first post here, Im having trouble finding anyone in my area that would look at my seadoo.
So when I got to start it takes a little bit to kick in I have to choke it, once it starts its sounds good but then it acts like I have the throttle pressed in and it revs really high, high enough I kill it. Im not sure where to start with this. Sticky throttle? Normal after sitting for awhile? When I bought it the guy said it had no spark and wouldn't start but I can get it to start fine (sorta) So since I cant pay anyone to look at it lol Im going to see if anyone here can help. I can send video if anyone is willing to help me out. thanks so much! Side note apparently the bi passed the oil and now you have to put in a mixture into the gas tank....well I haven't touched that either cause I don't know the ratio or type/brand of oil....still looking for that issue too :(

40:1 API-TC Synthetic Oil.
Pull the air box and remove the throttle cable. See if it is the throttle cable causing the sticking or if the carbs or throttle body is sticking You didn't say which model you have so you either have the 951 limited or the 787 RFI. Try a compression check to determine the health of the engine. Good Luck and welcome to the club !!

sorry its the 951, I just ordered some parts, gaskets and sealing ring cause I noticed a small drip and a small leak of exhaust. Hopefully that may be what's causing the high idle loosing pressure...thanks for the help!!

Did you lower the idle on the carbs or check the adjustment of the throttle cable. It might be too tight.
