I am trying to get my cousins sea doos back out on the water. I have followed the procedures for a sitting PwC. Drained gas, fresh plugs fresh battery. The first one I got started is leaking water, with pressure, at bottom rear of motor.

Any info is appreciated.

The other is saying maintenance, but I have not put fresh battery yet.

From the pic it looks like there is a hole in your water box. You could try a temporary fix by JB welding it but I would just pick up a used waterbox, pretty cheap

I can't tell from the pics but there is a fitting in the middle of the cylinders on the right side under the fuel rail that could be leaking. Will need a mirror to see.
There is also a case cooler on the bottom of the engine with the exit port/hose coming out the back under the black motor mount that could be leaking.
The compressor cooling hose could be leaking...I don't know, hard to tell from the pics.
Umm...just have to look closely and trace out the lines.

Maintenance light could be many things will need more info.

I'll get a mirror. The leak changed when I hit the gas. It's hard to get to it. Do I have to remove the top shell to work on it?

As for maintenance light, I am about to put new battery and pull plugs on that pwc. I'll report anything I find. I found a dealer up here that will hook it up to computer for $40. If I still get maintenance light with new battery I will take it to them

The maintenance light on DI's often is from a faulty regulator,, ( or perhaps a dying battery).

So my bad. I think it was just standing water being slung by shaft. I started a new thread about what I have going on now. I will repost it here.

I just started getting these up and running. I drained gas, changed plugs, installed new battery. Got it to fire up. Had a maintenance light, took it to dealership, they reset and said no codes. Told me to replace wear ring and cable locks and I should be good. I changed parts and took it out. Ran great to start with, I went slow then 40 mph. Seemed great. I noticed a small popping almost backfire. Headed in, then it ran rough and died. Didn't want to start. When it did, if I hit gas at all would immediately kill it. After I got in, on idle, I pulled the plugs, seemed fairly carbonized for new plugs. I pushed starter without plugs, didn't seem like I was getting much gas shoot out. It did start better and let me give some gas before it died while I trailored it.

Thanks in advance for any input. I have been researching. I have not changed the fuel filter yet. I will look for it right now. Rave valves could be the culprit according to one post I read. Lastly the fuel injectors. Can I clean these?

Again, thanks for your time and knowledge.

Rave valves could probably use a cleaning. I would remove them and spray them down with brake cleaner and scrub all the carbon build up on them, gonna take a little elbow grease. Always check the fuel and air pressure especially when they have been sitting for a while. Fuel pump could be on its way out. Also check compression. Those DI's are notorious for those few things.

I'll do the rave, though guy at shop didn't think that was it. I have cut out fuel filter, the pump isn't putting anything out. Trickle. I'll remove it tomorrow. Are there any filters, parts, that can be changed? Or is it gone?

You can always replace the internal filters, search for Airtex FS242 & FS220. Like I said before, checking fuel pressure is a must or you will never know which direction to go in. you can search the forum for the kits to use and how to check. If the skis were sitting like you said the pump is most likely done, my advice for that is to replace with a used pump the aftermarket ones are no good. westsidepowersports will have what you need.
