2000 GTX DI needs CPR

I hope someone out there can give me a little hope with this machine. I have a 2000 GTX DI with 150 hours. I did a stator and starter drive replacement on it and now it will only start if I give it a little throttle and it will run rough up to about 2k max with a MAINT signal on and the red light flashing (dies as soon as throttle let off). Cleaned out the whole fuel system and rail, pressure is right on. Air pressure is on spec too. 135psi in each cylinder, new battery and triple checked all the connections and it beeps per the manual. Is there something I'm missing before I take it to the dreaded dealer? No one is really experienced with older DI's anywhere around here. Thanks for anything.
 
1) Don't know for sure if it maters... but did you buy a NEW OEM stator for that machine. (ie, not for a different year)

2) Since you have a light... did you pull any codes?

3) When the stator was apart... did you crack/damage your CPS? Did you check it for anything stuck to it?
 
I got the stator/pickup and housing used in new cond from an 01 DI. Seadoo said it was a match for my 00.
No codes just a red fasher and Maint blinking while running
Put a meter on the stator and cpu and they were to specs...
