Hello, I need to replace my wear ring and want to know if I should purchase an OEM part or an aftermarket. Is one better than the other? Should I be replacing anything else while I have this apart? Ski has 105 hours on it. I plan to change out jet pump oil. Thank you

I vote for OEM. I tried after market once and it fell apart on me in no time. I'm not sure if the gtx uses one but you may need to replace neoprene washer

I personally have become NOT a fan of OEM rings due to the layered design of outer fiberglass with rubberized inner and potential to easily split/crack/separate, which I have had 2 do to me without even a season on them.... personally I prefer QUALITY solid delrin from now on, and not the sh@tty $17 from FleaBay or SBT. Nick Grillo of www (dot) osdparts (dot) com has some awesome ones that are in both my 155mm pumps for almost the whole season. Tight as hell clearances and seat properly in jet pump. (Use freezer trick) The wear ring will take damage before your prop this way.....

Depends on who you ask. I have only used OEM and never had one fail except from rocks going through them.

Wsm for years from Bay Area... There's no neoprene seal but there is a rubber ring that's around the pump. Don't further to tap the new ring once installed with the 4 set bolts
