I have a question about my 2000 GTX 951 engine carb adjustment.
Last yearI rebuilt carbs and installed new SBT engine. Kept it running rich for break-in and put oil in 1st tank of gas. Now we have about 4 tanks of gas through it.
This year I still had it running rich and high end is 5700-6000 rpm, but rpm does drop to the lower rpm, 5700 after a about 5 min at full throttle. Sometimes it totally stalls. Plugs show rich. I followed carb adjustment instructions that are all over, running full speed and cutting engine.
My question is high end adjustment.
The air box needs to be pulled to adjust it and get up there (right? Are there any tricks?), and I don't see the screw on the second(rear) carb. I see it on the front carb and adjusted it from about 1/8 to 0. It does have the plastic cover on it.
I am using a mirror to look up there to adjust and can't find a second carb high end screw, is there one?
