Like many of us I had issues with the 20 pin connector being difficult to open and close. Turns out there was some sort of manufacturing issue with the seal. I just replaced the female side molex mx150 connector and now it opens and closes easily as it should. As a bonus, I used the old female , bought 10 feet of 20 connector wire and a male side mx150 and now have a maintenance cable.
I you are only replacing the female then you don’t need crimpers but I do recommend the pin removal tool.
