Good Seadoos for balance

So unfortunately i think the time has come to sell my 95 and 96 XPs. After having brain surgery a year and a half ago and being diagnosed with a rare blood cancer, my balance is not very good anymore. Anyone that has ridden a mid 90’s XP know they arent the best for getting on, especially when in the middle of a lake. lol. My balance issues make it near impossible now.

I would still like to have one or two for the wife and kids to play on and for me to jump on occasionally. What would you guys recommend for stability and reliability that won’t break the bank? Would a 1996 ish GSX do ok or are they still on the tippy side? Not too familiar with the 4 stoke seadoos. Anything I should stay away from or lean toward?

Don’t mind getting one that needs some work. Would be good project for me and my oldest girl.

Yes, the GS series is fairly stable, it’s a true 2 seater. The XP’s are actually 2 seaters as well but you and I both know that really they are not. If you want even more stability than the GS the 2002 GTI that I own is very stable, it’s a 3 seater. I can stand with both feet in one footwell and it won’t tip. I’m sure the 3 seater GTX is the same but I’ve never owned or ridden one. I wonder if the 95XP might be a good one for you to keep for the kids? With less weight they are even more stable and once you get rid of them, they are gone.

Same as Burt said. If you want stable, reliable, easy to work on and good price point you want a 2002-2005 GTI 720. My wife has one and it is perfect for her. Stay away from the GTI RFI as it is a fuel injected 787.
