20 minute running issue 2002 gtx

My 2 stroke gtx has started with a problem this weekend.

Running fine for an hour, then started running poor not wanting to rev up and stuttering. Took it steadily back and put it on it's dry dock at the marina. Revs up fine.

Filled up fuel and oil and changed plugs.

Next day took it out ... Ran fine for 20 minutes of playing on waves etc .. Then started stuttering again. Took a steady run back to marina.

Had some dinner while scratching head

Went out again ... Ran fine, 20 minutes later running crap again.

Any suggestions ?

Fuel tank vent line?

Here is a quick check for seeing if this is a fuel vent problem. Next time it happens, immediately stop and open gas cap. Replace gas cap and see how it runs. If it runs good for another 20 minutes or so and repeats, your vent line/check valve is clogged and the depletion of gas is creating a vacuum in your fuel system. Insects, like to clog these lines. I am not familiar with were the vent is on your model.
