Wow, thats crazy considering with the knowledge here you could do it for almost nothing. I would figure most shops would be like $300. What exactly do you mean by all filters?

I thought it was a little crazy but it is The 4th july.Hes gonna go over the whole boat and change the fuel/oil filters,The steering is a little stiff and do a service with the fluids.I would of waited to shop around but i am going on vacation on tuesday.I bought the boat intending water ready but it wasn't the case.

Thats pretty high, but if you figure in the fact its the 4th, its all relevant to what you are willing to pay. As far as filters, i dont know what he is planning on changing, but you have 2 inline fuel filters, 1 fuel filter screen at the base of the filler neck. An internal fuel filter in each carb, and 2 oil filters. If he were to actually change all of those it would run like $75. I dont really see the need though. The inline fuel and oil filters yes, but the others can be cleaned and put back.

you dont really need to know jet boats. if you have even the slightest bit of mechanical inclination and you can read, its all here.
