1999 gtx rfi

I just purchased a 1999 GTX RFI. I have 5 gal. of yamalube 2w let over from previous ski. Would it be safe to use in the GTX. Or would a good TCW-3 be ok?

I don't know anything about the yamaha oil but seadoo recommends low ash API-TC. You shouldn't useTCW-3. Seadoos own brand is fully synthetic. There are other brands that meet the requirements, I personally use Quicksilver. I find it at walmart on the automotive oil isle. Not with the boat stuff. But whatever brand you go with make sure it says on the bottle it is approved for use in your seadoo watercraft.

I personaly use the spx synthetic in the yellow jug. Its about $50 a gallon but that is what is recommmended for the ski.
