after searching the internet for 2 day and doing test after test i finally created a profile and decided to ask some questions.
1999 gtx limited 951cc with 200 hours on her. hasnt run in 2 years had plans on hearing her run off carb clean then drain gas, clean out everything change plugs ect. upon getting it i put a battery charger on her put the key in and heard a clicking from the solenoid because the battery was dead. at this time i heard the beeps gauges light up ect. everything worked as it should other then the battery being dead. next day i put a new battery in it. tested at 13.25. after installing it the seadoo does nothing no beeps when i put the key in or anything. i jumped the solenoid and it turned over great. i can push the start button and the guages does nothing. dosnt turn on for the 33 seconds or anything. i then unplugged and ohmed the connection coming form the post to the mpem and it shows open circuit when the key isnt plugged in and closed when the key is on the post. now im stuck and dont want to dish out the money for a new mpem just yet.
any other tests would be great i got a good deal on it. only thing is it idled high i had to take the guys word for it because the battery was dead when i bought it.
