Been fixing a machine I picked up that was in pieces. Replaced bad beeper. Did major motor work and got it running. Ran it for a day or two with no problems and then had major motor problems again. Fixed those and back to the lake for testing. Motor running fine but would stall sometime out of the blue. Thought it was possible air in fuel line. Would idle fine. Fuel gauge does not work. Red low oil light is on all the time, although it has about three quarts of oil in it. Finally after several trips up and down the river at full throttle seems to be running very good. Back to dock to switch riders. Then no beeps on key. Removed all fuses (didn't know which one was mpem, ec.). All good. Found out later 4 of the 6 are spares. Reinstalled fuses, and 2 beeps and starts back up. Take it back out. Rider shuts off machine and then it won't restart in middle of river. No beeps. Completely dead. Press 5 times, no beeps. No oil light and fuel gauge is already dead. It has no other gauges. Try another key from other machine, no response. Both keys start the other machine, but neither get a response on this machine. Check DESS post. Get OL between black and black yellow with no key. Get 0 ohms with key on. Get 0 ohms from tan wire to center of post. What could it be now? What can I check? Any thoughts?
