1998 XP Limited PSI Question

I am thinking about looking at a 1998 XP Limited 951cc. The Ad states the compression in both cylinders is 125 psi. Seems Low? Says it runs but needs tweaking. Is this Ok?, What kind of problems should I be looking for? I'm a bit of a newbie beyond just getting on these machines and riding them. Thanks
