1998 Seadoo Challenger - Excessive oil on the ground after storage.

After sitting for a week after first full-day of use, noticed an excessive amount of oil on the ground under the hull. Seems to not be leaking directly from the reservoir (level did not drop). Are there any certain places to start looking at to figure out what is going on.

If your engine oil reservoir level did not drop, obvious ly it is coming from somewhere else. Duh.

Is it blue-green thick gear oil? Or milk shake?

Basically 4 points.
#1. under engine, front end of pump at the flange cover. Not common.

#2. From the pump shaft, front end, in the tunnel. More common. Hardest to repair. Need to pull engine.

#3. From the pump shaft, rear end , in stator. More common. Easiest to repair. Remove stator, replace seal.

#4. At the pipe plug in the aft end of the stator. Plug may not be tight enough or so tight that the stator casting has cracked.
