I keep having the stator blow out the rear fuse in the elec box. Each time I find the 3 yellow wires shorted to ground. Cleaned vacuumed and blew out the stator and the flywheel and everything around it. Resistance checked it out of the craft and it reads no short to ground and about .8 ohms between each yellow wire. I put it back in and here is the short again. I disconnected the pos. term on the battery. I put the ohm meter between one of the yellow wires and ground. It shows a short. I pulled the plugs and rotated the engine by the drive shaft slowly. The short goes away and comes back about every half rotation of the drive shaft. Does this mean I have a bent crank or maybe bad crank bearings. Is the flywheel making contac with the stator occassionally? HELP
