Hi everyone,
New to PWC. I just purchased a 1998 GTX Limited. I took it out once without issue. It cranked a little hard but started and ran without issue. I only ran it on the lake for about 5 minutes just to make sure it was working. I decided to throw the battery on the charger over night to be sure it was charged the next. The next day, I put it on the lake but when I tried to start it, it cranked for a minute, sputtered and then quit cranking. Now when I try to start it, nothing. I put the DESS key on it, I get the two beeps. When I push start, I get a single beep and the red light on the info guage comes on. I hear the solenoid click but nothing else. I am a newbie to this and just need a starting point. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
It has had the oil pump removed so uses pre-mixed.
The choke cable broke and I am replacing that today.
I am thinking about rebuilding the carbs but wanted to get it to crank again before I take anything apart.
