1998 GSX Limited Model Number?

Can anyone tell me if the 1998 GSX Limited (Gray Deck w/white motor) is a:

1998 SeaDoo GSX Limited (5629,5845)
or a
1998 SeaDoo GSX Limited (5625)

The model number you posted is basically USA or Canada. The parts are all interchangeable.

BUT... a 98 GSX LTD. would be red. The XP LTD would have had some silver on it. Can you post a pic??

It is technically the 1997.5 GSX Limited. SeaDoo considers it a 98, the hull identifier ends with '98', but was produced at the end of 97. It has a gray deck with red seat as opposed to the later produced red deck/purple seated 98 GSXLs.

Occasionally, on certain web sites looking for parts (etc.), the website wants to know what version my machine is, the (5629,5845) or the (5625). I have looked over the machine but have not found these numbers anywhere as of yet.

Would these numbers be located somewhere on my machine?

Just to finish this thread, the gray deck 98 GSX Limited is the 5625 model number. There are stickers inside the hull (2 of them for me) that have this number on them. I have also confirmed this from the different part catalogs for the model numbers. I noticed the 5625 had different sized bolts in certain locations and checked them against what was in my machine
