Hello

I am looking at a 1997 Seadoo XP and had the owner run a compression test on both cylinders. One is at 145 and the second is at 180. Why would one cylinder be so high, what is wrong?

The unit currently has no spark and he is asking $750 with the trailer, is this a good deal?

+1 on crank seal. Be careful with a no spark situation on those 97XP's. If it ends up needing a MPEM they are pricey and hard to come by.

Sound like I should pass on it. Might require a major rebuild plus still spark issue

+3 on the above answers...

If you were thinking about purchasing it and doing the repairs. I’d only offer $350 and be done with it.
