I am sure this has been discussed all over the place but I Couldnt find anything under the search engine for this. Might not of had the settings right.
I have a 97 XP with a 787 that has a bullett head, velfor breathers,and a factory pipe. This is all I can tell you about it cause this is all I Can see at the moment I have owned this ski aprrox a month.
The motor blew couple of weeks ago. The front cylinder has 0 compression the PTO cylinder has 90 PSI. I was thinking about doing an SBT motor but with the unknown factor of what type of crank is in it the extra cost might be a killer. The motor still turns over and it not seized but again with the unknown factor I belive a complete rebuild will be a good idea. Then I KNOW.
Heres my question I keep seeing this "Hotrods" crankshaft. Is there anything "HOT" about it? or is it just a new stock crank?
please note I am not tring to start a debate over what is better. I just tring to see if there is mechanicly anything different as I cant find specs on anything.
