new gas, cranks out of water fineand as soon as you get in water it will start running bad, cuts off and will not will not refire

new plugs, are wet when we pull them out, clean them or replace with new ones mades no difference,if it happens to start i can pump the primer we installed to prolong running ,but if we back it down ramp while running as soon as a load hits engine it will cut off and restarts are unlikely while in water, carbs have been rebuilt and motor has also

I'd be willing the bet the compression is very low, and it's time for an engine rebuild.

Check your compression. It needs to be above 135 psi... but a good engine will be above 145 psi.

Sounds like the same problem I had with my 96 SPI a couple of years ago. I even took it to a dealer and they could find anything wrong. Did you try idleing it up?

You probly did not do a leak-down test after re-assembly of carbs, or update the
fuel delivery system, like we've talked about in this forum. What does the dump-out
test tell you (separator bowl)? Do you get a fooof when you open gas cap?

Please post what model you are talking about. At this point we aren't even sure you're working on a SeaDoo.

Thank You, DAWG
