The manual gives some ohm test that will pass even if your trigger is broke off the bracket. Makes sense since the trigger itself is good, only its not getting triggered since it is off the bracket and not reading the magnets as they come by.
If you want you can test without the harnes. I used some little red butt connectors and put long wires in one end of each, crimped them down. The other ends I slid over the bost that stick out in the mag cover connector. Poor boy harness for sure but gave the readings just the same. If look dead on at the cover it is the two post on top post on left side for the trigger.
I would ohm out the coil and if good go straight for the trigger before looking at CDI and mpem.
