**** 1997 SEADOO XP (Different Ski)

Hi.

I recently purchases another 1997 seadoo xp. No fire to plugs. Found a couple wires under top storage compartment under gauges touching each other. Looks to be like the fiber glass finally wore the housing off of the wires in the harness. Could this be a main reason why the ski could have no fire?

Unclip the connectors on all unecessary acessories like oil & gas & vts, so they are ruled out, and recheck for spark. If none, Then loosen front mount, prop engine with wood block and open front cover, The pick-up could be broken or metal particles interferance are contaminating the Magnito Stator, cup, & flywheel.
