So I had the ski tested buy a local guy he said my my 1997 seadoo gtx has good compression 150 on both cylinders the charging system is working there is spark there is fuel going to the engine so is there oil but iam still geting the shut off at 50 mph so iam not sure my I know is idle is high I'm going to change that so I'm still not sure what exactly is going on can it be the Des post or the MPEM not sure

Did you ever try the fuel selector bypass? Did you pull the carbs off and have a look? Rebuild them to OEM? I'm still comvinced as others have suggested it's fuel delivery related. It's cutting out at WOT because of the lack of volumn needed. You have a restricted flow somewhere.

I haven't iam thinking of changeing it today and maybe that solve the problem the hole fuel selector
