So my 1997 Seadoo GTX has become a summer project. I've had to do a complete engine rebuild (upper and lower). Bought my upper rebuild kit (Jet Ski Plus standard bore since cylinder looks fine) and everything went back together just great. The only question I have is when doing the rebuild in the manuel section 03-05-14 it shows the rod with the needle bearings and "thrust washers", one on each side of the rod? I've looked at my kit and many other brands as well an none show or talk about "thrush washers"? Did I miss something???

Sorry I just realized I posted in spark forum not under 2 stroke

If your bearing looks like this you don't need them.

If you would use an OEM bearing it is a bunch of little individual needles with 2 thrust washers at the ends, kinda like this one
