Help my seadoo runs Good for about 20 to 30 min then it starts bogging down until it eventually runs at 10 to 20 mph at full throttle. And the next day I tested it the same thing and I just got it back from the shop after spending 2k on repairs

Take it back to the shop and tell them to fix it at their cost.

If the fuel tank check valve sticks closed it can create a vacuum and starve the engine of fuel and would take about 20-30 minutes of running to do this.

The '97 GTI fuel circuit seems to show 2 check valves. The simple test is to disconnect the vent line from the fuel pickup and drive around for 20/30 minutes time and see if that makes a difference. You could connect a temp hose to the vent nipple and run it somewhere up in the nose of the ski zip tied to something JUST AS A TEST. If the ski behaves better, then you know what to chase after that. Just a thought....I know it is a PITA to bring the ski to a shop, wait, wait, wait, etc......

What was the 2K for repairs spent on? If the fuel system wasn't part of the 2K package, they'll probably want to charge you more....just thinkin'!!!!

It is easier to just unscrew the gas cap when it starts to act up and if it then runs good again you know the tank is building vacuum.

One valve is a check valve that lets air into the tank to take the place of the used fuel and is just a one way valve. The 2nd one is a pressure relief that opens at about 2 psi to stop the tank from building too much pressure.

Yeah, that'll work too....I forgot about simply opening the gas cap....instant "vent"....doh!
