I own a 97 sea doo challenger 14foot.
I recently replaced the wear ring and impeller because of planing issues.
(would take forever to get on plane, have to get passengers at bow to get on plane even if trimmed properly)
Even though I replaced it still having the same problem.
Anybody know whats wrong?
I love the boat, amazing handiling in waves and turning! Just the lack of power, is the way I look at it.
I also had it out tonight, ran like a dream for at least an hour then started her back up hammered on it leaving the dock and nothing but grinding immeditaly backed off and checked stuff out. after probably 10 mins of coasting hammered on it several times and the same thing. then it went away but will not plain at all now?? any ideas?
Any bit of help with this would be awesome
