1997 Sea doo Speedster oil tank grommet replacement

Hello,
My oil tank is leaking oil from around the grommet at the elbow fitting at the bottom of the oil tank. I have a new rubber grommet but not sure how to remove and refit the grommet. Has anyone done this?

drain oil, remove elbow by twisting, wiggling, and pulling. it will be pretty tight. then remove grommet with dull screwdriver by prying out. assembly is reverse.

Flip the oil tank upside down, pinch the hoses and just pull it out. Mine came right off with the elbow

I replaced mine a few weeks ago. Left the tank in, but pulled the lines off the elbow, drained the tank, the twisted & pulled until it popped out. I installed the new one on the elbow and then into the tank. A little oil on the new grommet will ease in installation.
