Hello!
I have pursached a 1997 GTX with 144h on It. I have rebuilt carbs, rave, welded one exhaust plug, and changed fuel tempo lines. Now It runs great except for two electrical problems which i think they are both related.
First of all, the first 10-20 minutes of Rising, I get a 12v discharging warning. After that, It disappears. I have checked the charging voltage and It is ok.
The second problem is the speed sensor. I have checked It and It is ok, but instead of regulate voltage between 5'5-8'5, It goes from 5'5 to 6'5.
I have checked the purple cable that goes from the mpem to the infocenter etc and It has 11v instead of 12v. The mpem has 12'4v on the red wire. All checked with engine off ignition on. The speed sensor should be feeded by the purple/yellow with 9'5V instead of 11V i think It should have.
Do you know what else can i check?
Thank you, and sorry for my bad english, I'm writting from Spain.
