Convection Current - GCSE Physics Practical.

This is the start.

Have two spare 787 motors from a barnyard find. One my son shall rebuild & the other I'm going to use for numerous crazy arse experiments in RV lubrications, yes sir.
Got to construct a practical, working lab bench + a half dozen other items. Will video when I get all the ducks lined up.
Try to get it done by late April, or not.

So this is the basic "meat & potatoes" of the construct. Of course there will be tailored changes to product design as the study progresses.
All this is to introduce thermal difference to induce thermal convection/flow.

Can be cut to length
BTR-12JF-L.jpgDW-BTR-12JF.jpgMeh, maybe?

Order of placement within oil circuit TBD after lab bench studies.
All fitting will be 8AN with the option of changing to lessor to accommodate a smaller dia hose if warranted. (static line pressure considered)
All this to knock tank temps down as much as possible w/o compromising too much "real-estate"(?)

Kinda in a spot here. There is one aspect of this study that I just don't have the components to perform but imo, is a necessary discovery to dive into.
So that being said, I'm in need of the two inner crank seals. The metal cannot be bent or missing rubber material but the rest can be worn both ID & OD, cracked, warped rubber etc. Absolutely no use to anyone but to be tossed in the trash can or sent to me.
Here's why. With the crank/seals, (both in good shape from the "barnyard find"), removed, install the two individual seals with rubber expansion plugs with sealer inserted in the middle's to contain oil within cavity, sealant applied, seal groove/od around gear cavity, torque cases down>cure.
Create/duplicate the best I can, the conditions of a working gear, heat & rotation etc. Spin up the gear @ varying RPM's, step back & see what happens in oil circulation on a "tailored" circuit.
I think you know what I'm trying to accomplish here.
Anyway, I'll pay for shipping & handling & when received I will send you a gift card for $10 for a burger @ a joint of your choosing.
You have my word on this.
DM if you can donate.
