Kinda in a spot here. There is one aspect of this study that I just don't have the components to perform but imo, is a necessary discovery to dive into.
So that being said, I'm in need of the two inner crank seals. The metal cannot be bent or missing rubber material but the rest can be worn both ID & OD, cracked, warped rubber etc. Absolutely no use to anyone but to be tossed in the trash can or sent to me.
Here's why. With the crank/seals, (both in good shape from the "barnyard find"), removed, install the two individual seals with rubber expansion plugs with sealer inserted in the middle's to contain oil within cavity, sealant applied, seal groove/od around gear cavity, torque cases down>cure.
Create/duplicate the best I can, the conditions of a working gear, heat & rotation etc. Spin up the gear @ varying RPM's, step back & see what happens in oil circulation on a "tailored" circuit.
I think you know what I'm trying to accomplish here.
Anyway, I'll pay for shipping & handling & when received I will send you a gift card for $10 for a burger @ a joint of your choosing.
You have my word on this.
DM if you can donate.
