1997 GTX digital speedo inop

I've noticed that my info gauge, the speed does not indicate. However, the analog needle speedo works fine. The digital gauge works on everything else, just not the mph, or max mph. Is this a gauge issue?

There is a purple/yellow stripe wire that goes to both the info center and analog speedometer. It goes through a 3-pin connector before going to the info center. Check that connector for clean contact and the wire condition before and after the 3 pin connector. It branches to the analog speedometer before that 3-pin connector.
