1997 GTI Mpem wanted

Needing a 97 GTI mpem
part number I have is
278 000 930
Someone must have replaced it before because mfg. date on the box is 2001
I see I can get 1 for 220..but looking for a better deal

The correct part number for the '97 GTI MPEM is 278000916. I have a brand new MPEM here I can make you a deal on but it's going to be more than $220.00. And if you're close enough to me I can install it and program your key to it for you.

That is a different MPEM on the XPL...won't work. There is a guy on Flea-bay that says he can fix the 5amp problem for less than $100 I think? Try that?
