1997 GTI Blows 5amp Fuse Instantly HELP

Working on a 1997 GTI 717. It blows the 5 amp fuse on MPEM

Replaced MPEM
Stator ohms out correctly as stated in book
Swapped Starter Solenoid with good one
Swapped entire rear e box with good one

STILL BLOWS FUSES... Help please I am at the end of my rope with this I am about to just give it back to the customer.

Is there I way I can test this one? How much for one of yours if it is bad? It’s not mine it’s a customers so I will have to check with them.

375 shipped with a programmed key in guaranteed working order. Yours is bad. 5amp fuse is total deadness.

Are you sure? I have heard that other things like a bad stator can cause the same symptoms. If you're guaranteeing this will fix the problem then I will definitely contact the owner.
