1997 GSI

So a new to me 1997 GSI with 91 hours. Got it cheap with a few issues.

1 - The VTS works mostly.. It goes up and will stop when up all the way. But it would seem to try and go down forever. It moves down but you can hear it just keep spinning away. It also does not show the correct position on the gauge ever. Always seems bounce around close to the center mark. Would this be the magnet missing from the actuator arm?

2 - Right side sponson busted off.. new one coming

3 - Fuel gauge doesnt show anything - ordered a new float with magnets (assuming/hoping this it)

Been doing my research about the VTS... people with "The Trim Fix" and "The Gauge Fix" seems all self explanatory. Does this return function to normal?

I had read that you could blow the mpem if you hold the trim for to long in either direction? I just need / want it to operate like its supposed to with having to worry about expensive accidents with simple things.
